Jane's Universe
Jane's design philosophy is rooted in Mother Earth (Gigi). the Elements and the energetics of space + light (the numinous). She draws on yin + yang, magical realism, sacred geometry, vibrational aesthetics + sustainability to create magical interiors + private spaces that amplify the values + emotional needs of her clients.
She created the magic and interiors that is Navos De Los Corchos in Cordoba and the triyoga yoga studios in London and the Ishy Studio in Noting Hill which had a unique magic carpet of rose quartz crystals under the heated floorboards to raise the vibrations of the space and infrared ceiling panels to heat and detox the body - it was nominated the prettiest + most magical studio in London in 2018 by Harpers Bazaar.
The Big Pause in Cordoba, Andaluscia, Southern Spain is such a commission. Designed to seamlessly evolve from a private estate to a state-of-the-art + off-the-grid retreat far beyond the norms of luxury.
Here the reimagining of parts of the landscape by adding modern water features inspired by local Arabesque heritage, sourcing of antiques and commissioning local artisans to create bespoke pieces for the bedroom suites, lofts + cottages and a story book meditation tower have come together in the redevelopment to create heart-centred, magical spaces that resonate with clients long after their stay.
We have also added a large commercial kitchen catering to the growing needs of our wellbeing brand, the Ishy Kitchen, ergonomically designed + fitted out with top of the range wellbeing ‘equipment’ to cater for our farm-to-table nutrition-packed menus served on the retreats + my clients' private well-being weekends.
We are currently in the midst of designing three very private tree house guest suites for clients desiring complete stillness + privacy which employ the most sustainable materials.
